Is It Worth Watching? Yes (with a box of tissues).

Pistorius is a four-part documentary series on Amazon Prime which looks into the crime and conviction of the famous Paralympian, Oscar Pistorius. It focuses on the heavily televised seven-month trial following the murder of the sprinter’s girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, on Valentine’s Day, 2013.

Is It Worth Watching? Absolutely!

I didn’t enjoy the 2011 film Hanna. Partly because I don’t like Eric Bana, but mostly because I didn’t think Saoirse Ronan was convincing enough as a ruthless assassin. So it was with much trepidation that I began watching the TV Series which is a remake of the film. Also, Amazon’s track record of such programs doesn’t instil one with much faith. But, as it was, I had no reason to worry. The program has taken the very sound concept of the film and improved it immensely.

Netflix’s record on horror films and shows is about 50-50. While there have been signs of brilliance with The Haunting of Hill House, there also have been shows like Haunted which make you wonder if there is any quality control at Netflix. Chambers is somewhere in the middle.
